Walking into the garden department of my local hardware store I noticed a woman pushing a cart with a small bag of potting soil and a bag of river rocks.  She was of the generation that never left the house without lipstick and carefully combed hair.  She looked wonderful but a bit frail.  I offered to help her by lifting the bag of rocks into her car but she said a man in the store had already offered.  As I didn't see any employees coming to her aid I began walking with her toward her car anyway.  After just a few [...]
